Terms and Conditions of Efficient Taxi
Effective Date: March 1, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Efficient Taxi, a transportation coordination service operated by Mehervi Group Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing, booking, or using our services, you (“User,” “Customer,” or “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our Service.
2. Nature of Service (Platform Disclaimer)
Efficient Taxi operates as a technology-enabled dispatch and coordination platform that connects customers with independent drivers for transportation services.
What Efficient Taxi Does
Efficient Taxi makes reasonable efforts to ensure that:
- Drivers are properly licensed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Drivers maintain valid insurance coverage as required by law
- Drivers undergo background checks and screening procedures
- Bookings are handled through a structured dispatch system
- Customers receive booking confirmations, updates, and support communications
- Service standards are monitored through complaints and internal review systems
What Efficient Taxi Does Not Do
By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Drivers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of the Company
- The Company does not control or supervise driver behavior during rides
- The Company does not guarantee specific service quality, vehicle condition, or amenities
- The Company is not responsible for the conduct, actions, or omissions of drivers or passengers
- The Company assumes no liability for incidents occurring during transportation services
Efficient Taxi reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate drivers at its sole discretion.
3. Definitions
- “Service”: Transportation coordination services provided through Efficient Taxi
- “Driver”: Independent contractor providing transportation services
- “Booking”: A ride request made through official channels
- “Platform”: Website, systems, and communication channels of Efficient Taxi
4. Booking & Authorized Use
- All bookings must be made through official Efficient Taxi channels
- The Company does not recognize off-platform agreements
Non-Circumvention Clause
Customers and drivers agree not to bypass Efficient Taxi to arrange private rides outside the platform. Violations may result in:
- Permanent account suspension
- Legal action where applicable
5. Driver Conduct & Restrictions
Drivers are strictly prohibited from:
- Sharing personal contact information
- Distributing business cards
- Soliciting off-platform business
Violations will result in immediate termination upon investigation.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate booking details
- Be ready at scheduled pickup time
- Comply with all applicable laws
- Treat drivers and vehicles respectfully
7. Payments & Charges
- All bookings are subject to availability
- Charges may include tolls, wait time, extra stops, and route changes
- Failure to pay may result in service restriction or denial
8. Complimentary Wait Time
- International airport pickups: 45 minutes
- Domestic airport pickups: 30 minutes
- Non-airport pickups: 20 minutes
After this period, $70/hour (charged in full-hour increments) applies.
9. Free Upgrade Policy
Upgrades may be offered based on availability at the Company’s discretion. They are not guaranteed.
10. Route Selection Policy (All Service Classes)
For Economy and all other service classes, the assigned driver may determine the route based on:
- Traffic conditions
- Road closures
- Time and fuel efficiency
- Avoidance of toll roads where applicable
Customers may politely request a preferred route, however, the final decision remains at the driver’s discretion.
11. Service Expectations Disclaimer
Customers acknowledge that:
- Service levels vary depending on the class booked
- Economy services may include limited amenities
- Assistance such as luggage handling is at the driver’s discretion
- Customers should not expect amenities beyond the selected service class
12. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- 24+ hours before pickup: 100% refund
- 12–24 hours before pickup: 70% refund
- Less than 12 hours or no-show: No refund
Strict Refund Terms
- No refunds will be issued for any completed ride under any circumstances
- All refunds, if any, are at the sole discretion of Efficient Taxi
13. Safety & Incident Reporting
If unsafe driving or behavior occurs:
- Customers must report the issue during the ride immediately
- Customers are strongly advised to contact local law enforcement without delay
Failure to report incidents in real-time may affect internal review actions.
14. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Efficient Taxi shall not be liable for:
- Driver behavior, misconduct, or negligence
- Accidents, injuries, or damages during rides
- Route decisions made by drivers (including toll avoidance or detours)
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or road conditions
- Missed flights, appointments, or events
- Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
All services are used at the customer’s own risk.
15. Communications & Consent
By providing your phone number and using our services, you expressly consent to receive communications from Efficient Taxi, including:
- SMS/text messages
- Phone calls
- Booking confirmations and updates (transactional)
- Driver coordination messages
- Customer support notifications
- Promotional messages (only if you opt in)
These communications may be sent using automated systems, including platforms such as Twilio.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your bookings and interactions.
Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply.
Opt-In
By submitting your information, you confirm:
- You consent to receive messages
- You are the authorized user of the number
Opt-Out
You may opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP
- Contacting support

Consent Condition
Consent is not a condition of purchase.
16. Privacy Policy
We comply with applicable privacy laws, including CCPA and GDPR.
We do not sell personal data and use it only for service-related purposes.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
17. Chargebacks & Fraud Protection
Fraudulent disputes or chargebacks may result in:
- Permanent account suspension
- Legal recovery action
The Company may provide booking records as evidence.
18. Community Guidelines
Efficient Taxi strongly encourages both drivers and customers to maintain a respectful environment.
Users agree to:
- Treat others with respect
- Avoid harassment or misconduct
- Follow all laws and safety practices
Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal.
19. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under U.S. law.
Users waive the right to:
- Jury trials
- Class action lawsuits
20. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
